Cancellation

Purchased airfare thru Ultimate fares to attend a very import family gathering. Arrived at the airport confirmation documents in hand only to be told Ultimate Fares had cancelled my tickets without notifying me. I was at the airport without a ticket, confirmation in hand, had to repurchase ticket on the spot, it cost me an extra $500.00. They blamed my bank, my bank blamed them, it was a mess and no one, no one reimbursed me for my loss. Fortunately, I got a good rate, but unfortunately, I ended up paying quite a bit more for the tickets than I should have if there had been proper ocmmunication and good customer service from this company. Risky.

They were ok with me.

I have used Ultimate Fares in the past and they worked fine for me. I also had all my co-workers using them. This was over a year ago. Maybe the people or company has changed. I don't think it is ever fare to blame the consumer for the company mistake. I am sorry to whomever had difficulties by this company. I do know they use to be legit. Again maybe they made some changes with in and they were not good changes obviously. I guess I will think about it before I use them again. I mean if more than 1 person has a gripe they cant all be wrong. Think about that.

COLLECTIONS AGENCY

I attempted to book a flight with Ultimate Fares.com however received a message saying "sorry the flight you requested is not available". I went to another site and booked the flight. A couple days later I saw a charge on my account from them for the full price, so I called them up to ask if they charged my card. They said yes and they would credit me the ticket price however they could not credit me the fee's etc... this amounted to $81. I told my credit card company that I refuse to pay since I never used the service, seems logical right? This was back in march, nothing has been brought up since, until now. I got a letter in the mail from a collections agency telling me that I need to pay or they are going to put this on my credit!!!!!!!!!!! I would love to sue ultimate fares right now.

I have had the same exact problem. Their address keeps changing and we've recieved collections agency letters. This is a complete fraud.

I am having a problem with Ultimate Fares, except, I never authorized charges with them, they just charged my card without me knowing, and then sent mem to collections, several times.

Looking for service fee for no service done

I booked a ticket through (Cheap Ticket) this company for my son to travel from St.John's, NFLD, to Cancun, Mexico, and back. The ticket was cancelled on the day of travel. I bought another ticket with Air Canada for my son. All this company concerned of was the credit card company did not want to pay them $26 fee. The credit card company, rightly so, not to pay another company with different name. That was my first and last experience with both Cheap Ticket and Ultimate Fares, Inc. I don't believe they will be in business too long.

A big fraud/deplorable customer service

This website really is a scam. i tried to book a flight for the same day due to a family emergency. i kept on getting error messages after i gave my payment info and they prompted me to call their customer service. it ended up making the reservation in the wrong date. so i had to incur a cancelation charge and make new reservations. i ended up making numerous calls to find out the status. never received my ticket thru email(waited 5 hrs). they told me it was in the ticketing queque and should arrive in a couple of mins. i call an hour later only to find out that it had been cancelled. so i had to make a 3rd reservation at a higher price. the whole time i was led in circles, the agents were rude and not understanding. they put me on hold for long stretches of time until they just hung up. if you keep calling them they flag you and are reluctant to help. none of their names and extentions are real. in the end i got charged 3 times for one ticket!!! never using them again. WARNING: don't be mislead by their low fares, they'll raise them last min which you'll be responsible for.

Ultimate fares is ultimate garbage!

I booked a flight with ultimate fares, and "locked in" my price. A day before takeoff, and they switched the price on me! When i tried to cancel the new flight (which was twice as expensive), the second the customer service found out i was cancelling they hung up on me! Come to find out no body over there speaks english, and rather than *** you off (which is bound to happen because you cant cancel a flight if they dont speak english) they just hang up on you, over, and over, and over again. Finally i got through to a "manager" who insisted he would take care of it, and cancel my flight. They will not give me anything in writing however to verify the cancellation. (They just dont do that!) Rediculous! Well they verbal guarantee wasnt worth a lick because they charged my card anyway, and i spent my entire week's vacation with $500 dollars less than i originally had until i was finally credited back the money two and a half weeks later. Stay away from cheap tickets and ultimate fares people! Sidestep.com will find every flight and every price they do, but will find it on a reputable online agency.

Ultimate Fares; Ripped me off for cancelled ticket

I was booking ticket last minute on the internet at Buffalo Airport. Booked one flight and their site said it did not go through. Booked a later flight with them minutes later. Called in to confirm the flight and that earlier flight would not be charged as it was not confirmed. I was assured by their customer service that it would not be charged -twice in fact over two days. Low and be hold it has been charged to my cc, I have paid for two return flights Buffalo to Phoenix and they refuse to credit me so far. A couple of the agents I spoke with barely speak English. Don't do business with them they are a scammers!!!

Ultimatefares.com

I have called and I have written twice and then had to FAX a request for a refund of a charge that I did not make. On July 5, 2008 I made a purchase of an Airline ticket round Trip to the Philippines. I was advised to wait for 2 E-Mails to verify my purchase and booking. I received one E-Mail without a Ticket confirmation number. 48 hours later when I had not received a second e-mail I called the required number and was rudely advised that my name was not in the computer and I had not purchased a ticket from ultimatefares. I tried to advise the woman that answered the telephone that I was charged $63.48 by a company called Travel Gard for flight/Ticket Insurance. I was advised that they knew nothing of the transaction and I must have purchased it. Why would I purchase Travel Insurance when I had not even received a Ticket? I then called my credit card company who in turn called Travel Gard. Travel Gard International Advised me that I purchased the Insurance and should have received a E-Mail reflecting such. I assure you that I did not purchase the Insurance nor did I receive a E-Mail verifying such. (Spam File Either) I was then told that I had to FAX a letter to the company to cancel a Travel Insurance Policy that I did not purchase. Why did Ultmatefares give my credit card information to another company for flight insurance without even verifying my flight. At this time I have no flight and I am skeptical about visiting ultimatefares again or recommending them to friends. i do agree it is the same person she states many times she worked for ultimatefares.com. ultimatefares.com should be aware of this randi thing. ultimatefares.com reviews are the same for the past 100 or so postings.It is a true vendetta she keeps saying ex employee non stop. I did business before I researched these guys. I was ***, I was in a hurry. We needed to get my cousin back to the states and I jumped at their prices.

These guys kept me going in circles while I was desparate for the tickets. I ordered tickets online and was given a reciept that said I would get an eticket within two hours. when 3 or 4 hours passed, I called and they were closed. It was only a 1/2 hour before they opened, so I waited. I got a hold of them and explained my concern. They told me they had just opened and that all tickets were processed by hand. I would have to wait a few hours while all tickets were processed. I waited and then got a Credit Card Auth form. I sent it back per instructions but stipulated that I needed both tickets that i requested. I called and checked on the status of my fax. they gave me more excuses. this had me concerned so I decided to do a web search on them. Ultimate Fares looks like the entire travel industry hates them. this had me concerned. I called UF back, stated my concerns, and stated that I needed to see some tickets in my email by morning or I would have to cancel through my Credit Card Company. By morning, no tickets.

Now these guys are saying that a ticket from Lufthansa was used. I went to Lufthansa and purchased a ticket in person and got a physical ticket, not an e-ticket. UF says that it was the same ticket. I don't see how this can be.

Now they want me to send the ticket, that I purchased directly from LH, to them so that they can process a refund. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing left to do, the CC company handled to cancellation, I bought new tickets directly, and now everyone is home using tickets that I purchased without the help of UF.

Question: Is there really any reason that they have to do another refund? We have our refund through the CC company. Why would they need the physical ticket from Lufthansa? They asked for the ticket # first and I gave that to them. Now they want the physical ticket but I won't send that because we need it for our records.

Looks like our stalker was up early this morning. I have been getting excellent service by UF and I want to stand up for them but I have a job so I cannot comment everytime this schizophrenic ex employee makes up a story.

Too much time on your hands, Randi. If I were at UF, and I will adivse them of this, I would get a restraining order because Randi is obviously mentally ill.

Last night I tried to purchase a ticket for my father to meet up with me in Las Vegas this weekend. I do not claim I travel more then anyone else or even a large % of those on this site. But I do think I do travel a bit. I am in the auto racing industry here in the USA. I spend my weekends in a different city 30+ weekends of the year. And in between the weekends I am at our offices in Charlotte. So when I stated I am a Savey (savvy) traveler, I wanted referenced my many experiences with domestic travel.

If you can find me one chain of postings on any web-site that praise UF.com, I truly will apologize for calling you out. When I searched for Marriott, Orbitz, Travelocity, Kayak.com, and Northwest Airlines, I found many chains starting with positive comments about them. NOT ONE POSITIVE CHAIN STARTED ABOUT UF.COM.

When I called last night to discuss those fees with UF.com, I was on hold 1:10 before the lady picked up. I was told by their recording my hold time would be approximately 18 minutes. When she finally came on, she was not polite at all (even before I started asking questions). She also told me she was the only one in the office answering calls. ONLY PERSON?????

When I asked to cancel the reservation she stated that there would be a $50.00 fee charged to me. I told her I just booked it 2 hours ago. She stated that they had to charge it because the airline charges them the same. Well, that is a major lie. I have canceled many flights in the past after booking them hours later and have not had to pay a fee. Orbitz, United, and Northwest to name a few. Last weekend, my 13 year old daughter was flying to visit me from Des Moines Iowa, and I hade to my schedule in Daytona, so I rebooked her to meet me in Vegas. They never charged me a cancel fee as long as it was with in 24 hours of the booking.

I never knew of this web-site until I did a Google search on UF.com.

I should have never used them and will tell all my friends never to use them.

I travel weekly for work and commute between Erie PA and Charlotte NC. I would say I am a savey person wen it comes to finding great ticket prices. When I wanted to save money on a personal trip, I looked at ULTIMATEFARES link from Kayak.com. I understand clearly what taxes/fees are.

I was fooled to purchase a fare of $271.00 on ULTIMATEFARES versus going to the airlines web site and paying $340.00 with taxes and fees. When I saw the final cost, i was not given a chance to confirm and agree to the final invoice as all other web-sites give to agree to. I ended up paying $100 more then what the airline would of charged.

I WAS RIPED OFF.

I have contacted Kayak.com and have expressed my displeasure of the website ULTIMATEFARES and their endorsment.

The worst part of the whole experiance was their customer serviceline and the wait. I was caller #3 and told my wait would be 18 minutes.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!

Ultimate Fares/Great Fares On Airline Tickets

Great pricing on airline tickets. I have found this website while searching the internet. We were searching for flights from Denver to Paris this was an emergency trip for a family emergency. I was pleasantly surprised to find a site that let me book a last minute ticket for next day travel. The pricing was great I saved over $400.00 I purchased 4 tickets. A few minutes after booking the flight I got a call from an ultimate fare representative confirming my flights and also wanted to confirm that I was the person purchasing these flights to avoid any identity theft issues after confirming all the information the tickets were issued immediately. The reason I am writing this comment is because I was amazed to find all these negative reviews on ultimate fares. I want to praise Jennifer for all her assistance she is a great asset to the company. I will use ultimatefares.com for all my travel plans from now on and I will let anyone who will listen know that in this corporate world we live in there are people that still care. Thank you ultimatefares.com I am a fan.

I have bought tickets from them several times and have no complaints! Heck can even get cheap last minute deals if you don't mind multiple stops with plane changes. If they have gone bad it is a shame;I always looked to ultimate fares first.

Call your credit card company and dispute the charges. This is what they constantly do and you need to stop them immediately. They scammed you.

i tried to buy tickets from ultimate fares website but it kep comin up as 'website error, please call 1-800 numb er.' so, i did. the agent told me they were experiencing high volume and to keep refreshing my browser until the transaction went through.

I never received a confirmation on the website so I bought tickets directly from the airline. Then I checked my email and here are 3 reservations. I called and told them I didn't need the tickets, and certainly not 3 of them, and that their website never confirmed my order, and told them of the discussion I had earlier with their agent and refreshing my browser which resulted in 3 orders.

They charged me $50 a piece for cancelling tickets I did not buy and $24 each for an 'agent fee' which means talking to an agent on the phone. Totally a scam and dishonest.

i work for a credit card company and filing a chargeback is only for a charge that you do not remember or authorize, if you file a chargeback for something the company can prove that you knew about then you can face legal action..so be careful..

It was only a 1/2 hour before they opened, so I waited. I got a hold of them and explained my concern. They told me they had just opened and that all tickets were processed by hand. I would have to wait a few hours while all tickets were processed. I waited and then got a Credit Card Auth form. I sent it back per instructions but stipulated that I needed both tickets that i requested. I called and checked on the status of my fax. they gave me more excuses. this had me concerned so I decided to do a web search on them. Ultimate Fares looks like the entire travel industry hates them. this had me concerned. I called UF back, stated my concerns, and stated that I needed to see some tickets in my email by morning or I would have to cancel through my Credit Card Company. By morning, no tickets.

Now these guys are saying that a ticket from Lufthansa was used. I went to Lufthansa and purchased a ticket in person and got a physical ticket, not an e-ticket. UF says that it was the same ticket. I don't see how this can be.

Now they want me to send the ticket, that I purchased directly from LH, to them so that they can process a refund. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing left to do, the CC company handled to cancellation, I bought new tickets directly, and now everyone is home using tickets that I purchased without the help of UF.

Question: Is there really any reason that they have to do another refund? We have our refund through the CC company. Why would they need the physical ticket from Lufthansa? Oh my gosh the same thing happened with me, a representitive called and wanted to verify that I authorized my travel, I was shocked because I didn't think that anyone cared about fraudulent charges any more--I did verify that i did indeed purchase tickets for my daughter and to go ahead with the transaction.I personally was very happy and will be back--I was leary when i read all of this information--but i think it was a hoax and i will be back to Ultimate fares for my July trip.,

Don't use Ultimatefares

Well today being was the first time I used that site to purchase airline tickets. I had never heard of them before, I have used Expedia,Travelocity,Hotwire, Priceline, Yahoo Travel in the past. Today I Googled airline travel and I was led to that site, Big mistake. I had a concern and question and I called the toll free number. The woman on the other end of the call...I dare not say she was a lady, she was rude, crude and unprofessional. They are such an obscure site that I would not recommend it. Go to well known sites to book your flight.

Ultimatefares Nightmare on their Website

Your Credit Card Company will protect you against all the charges. Believe me. I was their Billing Manager and I would take all their Billing Calls from upset customers who have been ripped off from this company. Ultimatefares.com, Cheapflightsales.com, Arcade Travel, and Travel Services are all the same company doing off the wall fraud activities to their clients. I am in close contact with the old employees in their Boca Raton Office and they just told me the latest news that American Airlines has just pulled their plates which means these companies cannot book any travel with American Airlines because they even tried to scam them. These companies are known in the industry for Fraud!!! They even charged their clients for Travel Insurance when they dont even elect it on their website and they are immediately charged with Travel Insurance. The owner told me half of his customers wont even look at their Credit Card Statement so he will autimatically make money on the Travel Insurance. When I worked their I would receive approximately 50 calls a day from mad clients stating to refund the travel insurance. Travel Guard is so fed up with them its not funny. If anyone has further questions, please feel free to ask and I will will advise. For starters, if you feel you have been ripped off, call your Credit Card Company and file a Chargeback. Secondly, please read "Pissed Consumer" and read about these companies. All you need to do is go to Google.com and type in Reviews on Ultimatefares.com and you will see the nightmare stories. Stay Away I warn you. The owners phone number is 818-518-**** and their address is 7100 Camino Real, Suite 402, Boca Raton, Florida. They say they are located in Las Vegas but that is also bogus.

Ultimatefares is charging fees for a flight I didn't make

What is the next step after making a chargeback to my credit card company in dealing with Ultimatefares? On April 1, 2008 I had the same experience as others, where I tried to make a reservation, not once but twice at different times, and each time I entered my personal info and credit card number and then was given a message that my reservations could not be made at the time, my session had timed out, and I should call 866-507-****. Never could get anyone to answer the phone either time. Since I had not received a confirmation or reservation code or even told they would have to get back to me, that I did not have a reservation. I decided to move on and successfully made reservations elsewhere. On April 3rd I received a confirmation travel itinerary and reservation code placed by Utltimatefares, so I proceeded to contact them by e-mail and telephone but with no success--my e-mails were kicked back and no one answers the phone. I was able to cancel the falacious flight tickets, but now they are after me for $100 cancellation fee and then tagged on an extra $50 for a penalty credit card chargeback fee. Now Ultimatefares has sent a bill directly to my home for $150 and stated if I don't pay, they will report my delinquent accountdirectly to all major banks credit bureaus and will take legal action. They keep referring me to the "Terms and Conditions" I agreed to upon issuance of the airline tickets. Looks like they now bypass the chargebacks to the credit card companies by directly billing you. Now what do you recommend I do? I am still working with the credit card company with the transaction as a dispute, but Ultimatefares seems to circle around the chargeback theory.

It is a shame that this disgruntled employee is putting down a company that goes so far out of their way to help its clients. Randi is trying to cause trouble because she just sits around collecting money from unemployment while writing lies on a website.

I have purchased several airplane tickets through Ultimate Fares and have had to change dates to accomodate my bosses.

When I call I get right through and I don't even have to pick up the phone to call the airline myself. Ultimate Fares is a full service agency and they always take care of everything for me. I have spoken with Randi on the phone and was not surprised when I called in late March to find out she was fired. She is as mean as she seems.

I was their Billing Manager and the company is only threatening you with letters that will not hurt you. Keep disputing the charge with your credit card company and let Ultimatesfares.com keep sending you these threatening letters and waste postage and ink.

In the years I have worked there, not once did I ever nor the company ever send anyone to a Collection Agency. They are just trying to scare you. Do not pay the Cancellation Fee nor the Chargeback Fee.

It was part of my job to send the threatening letter you have received to our clients. But... between you and I ... they are just trying to scare you with threathening letters.

I have worked for the company for Nine Months and kept sending those threatenting letters, but the truth is there is nothing they will or can do. They do not work with a Collection Agency but threathen you with that in their letters. All you need to do is dispute the charges with your credit card company and the credit card company will protect you from all and future charges. Just always remember...

Cheapflightsales.com and Ultimatefares.com is the same company

Ultimatefares.com and Cheapflightsales.com are the same company doing terrible online web travel business practices. I have recently booked a trip for my family and received an error message advising me to call in. After being on hold for over one hour, I finally got connected to a person (Indian) who could hardly speak any English nor speak it. After spemding over an hour on the phone with him as he could not understand Emglish, He told me I did not have a reservation. I then decided not to book another flight with this company due to the type of customer service I was receiving from this Indian Man but the terrible customer service I was receiving. I then called the Airline directly and booked my flight with them. Two days later I received an email stating an Airline Itinary from Ultimatefares.com which the Indian Employee advised me there was no reservation in my name. I then called Ultimatefares again waited over an hour and got to another Indian Man and he did indeed tell me I had a reservation for my family. I was aphauled and he told me I could cancel and receive a credit with the Airlines for up to one year from date of purchase. I did not want a credit as I cant afford a credit with the airlines as I wanted my money back. I then got the corporate number and spoke to a lovely lady (American) who was the Billing Manager and she felt terrible about what I went through. She advised me that I was truly rigjht and I should file an Airline Chargeback as I was Charged for airline tickets when I should not have. This wonderful employee dreaded to tell me such terrible news about the company she worked for. I was also charged for Travel Insurance which I did not select and I was on with Travel Guard for over an hour. Trying to get it refunded. Please stay away from these two terrible Web Based Companies as they will steel your money. They also charge people for Travel Insurance when you dont even elect it on their website.

Thank you Randi for advising me of these awful companies. I did try and get purchase tickets but received an Unconfirmed Flight but they charged me for travel insurance.

It took me over an hour to get thru with Travel Guard and they told me they get hundreds of calls a week advising me that this company charges travel insurance when the people dont even want it. They are so fed up with Ultimatefares.com and Cheapflightsales.com.

Got a great deal

i actually use ultimatefares.com in the past and just recently as well, they have great prices i was able to get a last minute international ticket for alot less than other leading websites or the airlines.I did call their cutomer support number, i wanted to make sure i did have a reservation spoke to a rep and she seemed very knowlegable i ended up with a ticket and travlled without any issues. To me it seems like all the reviews about ultimatefares.com are from the same person and it is more personal than facts. ultimatefares.com seems to be very legit and it has been around for a while.

Travel Guard is the company that Ultimatefares.com and Cheapflightsales.com charge you for Travel Insurance. Their website was built and designed to charge people for Travel Insurance when you do not even elect to choose it. They have ripped off thousands of people and they get monthly checks approximately $20,000 each month.

The owner of Ultimatefares.com is stating I am a discrunted employee and is writing lies about me and his company. I ran their billing department and I know that this company will rip you off left and right, forwards and backwards, they are scam artists. The owner Roni writes Reviews calling himself Samantha and alot of other bogus names as he tries to protect his company and image. If anyone has been ripped off from this man and company please send me an email to randi dot greenberg at yahoo dot com and I will advise you exactly how to stop this man from ripping you off.

I will be more than happy to explain to you exactly how to go about filing a Chargeback which is disputing the Fraud Charge on your credit card. This man Roni, dba Samantha is scared Chiittless as he know my posts are true and his business is in big trouble. When I worked there my last month I had spoken to approximately one hundred people that received error messages on his website, booked elsewhere as they did not think there tickets had went thru, when they did and got charged for two sets of tickets and this company will not be refunding their money. Roni Herskovitz is Fraud and so is Ultimatefares.com, Cheapflightsales.com, Travel Services, Arcade Travel, and Interglobe, oh my god so many names. If anyone needs additional information about this Fraud huming imbosil, please contact ARC in Virginia. Ultimatefares.com must be on good behavior with them or else, well Roni, want the plugs pulled again so you cant sell any tickets and have to used Indian Consolidators "Skybird" and Trams Am Travel to book your tickets.

I noticed by your many postings that you are in defense of UF.com a lot. You must be their Ambassador or maybe an employee, owner?

You seem to have a habit of slamming/insulting others when they express their opinions, and even when they express their mistakes. Are you one to fault Sr. Citizens when they get taken advantage of by scams??? Are you one to fault others when they mis-read the fine print? Why are you so hard on others?

I have to question your travel experience. How can someone have so much travel when they seem to spend their whole day posting on this site? And with 90% of their postings as responses to others postings. At the same time 90% are negative responses to theirs.

Last night I tried to purchase a ticket for my father to meet up with me in Las Vegas this weekend. I do not claim I travel more then anyone else or even a large % of those on this site. But I do think I do travel a bit. I am in the auto racing industry here in the USA. I spend my weekends in a different city 30+ weekends of the year. And in between the weekends I am at our offices in Charlotte. So when I stated I am a Savey (savvy) traveler, I wanted referenced my many experiences with domestic travel.

If you can find me one chain of postings on any web-site that praise UF.com, I truly will apologize for calling you out. When I searched for Marriott, Orbitz, Travelocity, Kayak.com, and Northwest Airlines, I found many chains starting with positive comments about them. NOT ONE POSITIVE CHAIN STARTED ABOUT UF.COM.

When I called last night to discuss those fees with UF.com, I was on hold 1:10 before the lady picked up. I was told by their recording my hold time would be approximately 18 minutes. When she finally came on, she was not polite at all (even before I started asking questions). She also told me she was the only one in the office answering calls. ONLY PERSON?????

When I asked to cancel the reservation she stated that there would be a $50.00 fee charged to me. I told her I just booked it 2 hours ago. She stated that they had to charge it because the airline charges them the same. Well, that is a major lie. I have canceled many flights in the past after booking them hours later and have not had to pay a fee. Orbitz, United, and Northwest to name a few. Last weekend, my 13 year old daughter was flying to visit me from Des Moines Iowa, and I hade to my schedule in Daytona, so I rebooked her to meet me in Vegas. They never charged me a cancel fee as long as it was with in 24 hours of the booking.

In closing, WORLDVOYAGER, please donÒ€ℒt be so hard on others when they express their personal experiences on such a venue. I never knew of this web-site until I did a Google search on UF.com. And thatÒ€ℒs why I have only one posting and a new poster.

I did business before I researched these guys. I was ***, I was in a hurry. We needed to get my cousin back to the states and I jumped at their prices.

These guys kept me going in circles while I was desparate for the tickets. I ordered tickets online and was given a reciept that said I would get an eticket within two hours. when 3 or 4 hours passed, I called and they were closed. It was only a 1/2 hour before they opened, so I waited. I got a hold of them and explained my concern. They told me they had just opened and that all tickets were processed by hand. I would have to wait a few hours while all tickets were processed. I waited and then got a Credit Card Auth form. I sent it back per instructions but stipulated that I needed both tickets that i requested. I called and checked on the status of my fax. they gave me more excuses. this had me concerned so I decided to do a web search on them. Ultimate Fares looks like the entire travel industry hates them. this had me concerned. I called UF back, stated my concerns, and stated that I needed to see some tickets in my email by morning or I would have to cancel through my Credit Card Company. By morning, no tickets.

Now these guys are saying that a ticket from Lufthansa was used. I went to Lufthansa and purchased a ticket in person and got a physical ticket, not an e-ticket. UF says that it was the same ticket. I don't see how this can be.

Now they want me to send the ticket, that I purchased directly from LH, to them so that they can process a refund. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing left to do, the CC company handled to cancellation, I bought new tickets directly, and now everyone is home using tickets that I purchased without the help of UF.

Question: Is there really any reason that they have to do another refund? We have our refund through the CC company. Why would they need the physical ticket from Lufthansa? They asked for the ticket # first and I gave that to them. Now they want the physical ticket but I won't send that because we need it for our records.

Just purchased my ticket and I am happy with the customer service. Everything was smooth.

Never had to pick up the phone. I called the airline to confirm after reading this forum and my tickets are there waiting for me.

I went to their website and it is really easy to use. I looked at other sites and they seem to have good deals.
